The goal is to let players fell fun and immersed in the game world and the story, so it doesn’t fell like an assesment test.
Telkomsel, Indonesia’s leading telecommunications provider, sought to enhance its recruitment process by assessing candidates’ alignment with the company’s core values and working culture. To achieve this, Telkomsel introduced the “Telkomsel Working Culture Assessment,” a recruitment assessment designed to evaluate candidates’ cultural fit with the company’s 12 Working Principles. These principles were creatively integrated into three engaging mini-games, providing an innovative approach to candidate evaluation.
The primary objective of the Telkomsel Working Culture Assessment was to effectively gauge candidates’ compatibility with Telkomsel’s working culture. By embedding the company’s 12 Working Principles into an interactive and engaging format, Telkomsel aimed to ensure that only candidates who aligned with the company’s values would progress through the recruitment process.
To meet this objective, Telkomsel entrusted Level Up powered by Agate to develop a gamified assessment platform that featured three distinct mini-games, each designed to reflect different aspects of the 12 Working Principles. These mini-games provided a fun, engaging, and interactive way for candidates to demonstrate their understanding and alignment with Telkomsel’s core values. The assessment was accessible to all candidates applying for various positions within the company, making it an integral part of the recruitment process.

Over 7,000 users participated in the assessment, with 95% of more than 3,000 candidates rating the assessment highly, giving it a score of 3 to 4 on a 4-point scale. This high level of engagement and positive feedback indicated that the assessment was not only successful in evaluating cultural fit but also in providing a positive candidate experience.
