This Cookie Policy explains how Level Up powered by Agate (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local browser storage) on agatelevelup.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

What is a cookie?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your computer, mobile, or other device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device.

How long are cookies stored for?

  • Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period of time specified in the cookie. They are activated each time you visit the website that created that particular cookie.
  • Session cookies allow website operators to link your actions during a browser session. A session starts when you open the browser window and finishes when you close it. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser.

Types of cookies we use

We group cookies (and similar storage) into three categories, matching the choices in our cookie banner:

  • Strictly necessary — always active. These enable core functionality, such as protecting our forms from spam and remembering your cookie preference. The site cannot work properly without them.
  • Analytics — set only after you accept analytics cookies. They help us understand how visitors use the site (which pages are visited, how long people stay) so we can improve it.
  • Marketing — set only after you accept marketing cookies, and only once we run advertising campaigns. They help measure the performance of our campaigns on platforms such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.

Managing your cookie choices

When you first visit the site, our banner lets you accept all cookies, reject them, or manage preferences per category (analytics, marketing). Your choice is stored in your browser; you can change it at any time by clearing your browser storage — the banner will appear again on your next visit.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. For instructions, see the help pages of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works (for example, forms may not submit).

Opting out of analytics

You can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Microsoft Clarity is only loaded after you accept analytics cookies, and it respects your choice; you can also block it with the browser controls above.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies are placed by third-party services that appear on our pages (for example, embedded YouTube videos or, in the future, advertising platforms). Because of how cookies work, we cannot access these cookies, nor can the third parties access the data in cookies used on our site. Please check those websites for more information about their cookies and how to manage them.

We keep this cookie policy under regular review. It was last updated on 6 October 2026.
